A Brief History of Odd Surfboards
Odd Custom Surfboards started manufacturing in November 1997 in the old Session Surfboard Factory in South Cornelly, in which I manufactured Session custom surfboards for five years. Prior to that I have been in the surfboard trade for 34 years and my shaper, Paul Gill aka "The Gill" for 31 years, between us clocking up a lot of experience.
Quality Materials
We use environmentally friendly British blanks, we also use Top Foam on occasion which a good quality blank from South Africa.
The resin is isothalic (Iso 7X) and we use first class quality 4oz and 6oz glass.
First Class Service
We, at Odd Surfboards, try to give our customers as much help as possible, from competition surfers to the complete novice. We can do an old favourite board, retro boards or make a new board to any specification from a lightweight competition board to a strong lasting board.
Freelap is our trade name. Our boards go under the logos of Classics for the retro malls and Odd boards which are our main logo. We also provide a professional repair service.
Paul Gill (shaper), travels around the world and has gained a vast knowledge of all types of boards.
Artwork
Custom artwork is no problem, for extra-special requests we will bring in Artworks by Chris Gadd - world renown airbrush artist, who can spray whatever you desire.
